I am 50/50 with the precedent established in the Reno Case. So let’s break down the statement. The first sentence goes, “The Internet is a unique and wholly new medium of worldwide human communication.” Before the internet, people were communicating by house phone, the large box phone with an antenna, handwritten letters, and mail pigeons, just to name a few. The internet provided a new wave of chat rooms and websites, people could connect with family and friends for and wide no matter the time of day. The second sentence goes, “now enables tens of millions of people to communicate with one another and to access vast amounts of information from around the world.” Apart from communicating with friends and family, people were able to access news and information from around the world. People who migrated to different countries, for example, people from the Bahamas, who moved to America, were able to get updates from news back home.
